This is you getting ready for church.  I love the tie and vest combination and the smile and big brown puppy dog eyes make me melt into a big puddle of goo.

Poppa has that same look, especially when he knows he's in trouble with Diva.  Both of my Charlies  know how to work me . 

You are the one boy that is "all Bennetch"   .  I love that you are a cuddlier and I especially love to hear your prayers.

You are my little chatter bug.

Tasty Meal

Hello my juicy Hamburger Boy....

Happy Halloween.  Did you realize that together your entire family makes up a yummy picnic.  Your sweet Mommy is the tablecloth, placemat, plate and eating utensils, you sweet boy, are the main course, Henry is a banana, Daddy is a big bag of chips and Oscar is a juice box.

Diva and Poppa work at Equipping The Saints and a large part of Diva's time is spent sorting clothing.  Diva found the hamburger costume while going through lots of used clothing and I knew that one little brown hair, 3 year old boy would love to wear it.   When I brought it to you your face lit up and you put it on right away.  Your Daddy was upstairs working on the hallway and you went right up to him and said, "Daddy I a hamburger."  

Your Daddy was busy working and had his back to you and hadn't seen your costume.  He thought you were hungry and wanted to get a hamburger so he said, "I know you are hungry buddy, just let me finish this and we will go get hamburgers."

You grabbed his hand and said, "No Daddy I a hamburger" and made him look at you.  Daddy had to laugh and agree that yes, "you are a hamburger!"

Only your very creative Mommy could take that one costume and make a whole family costume from it.    Mommy found the banana costume at the thrift store. It was a costume for a dog.  (Don't tell Henry) .  Your Mommy can make a costume out of anything.  I think Henry's costume is very appealing....(just a little grown up humor!)

Daddy made the juice box costume for Oscar.  The straw was the highlight of the costume.  You have an amazing family little boy.

We love you and love to see you dress up and have a great time at the "Trunk of Treat" at your church.  I wonder what family costume your Mommy will come up with next year?

My Nutella Boy

Dearest Charlie Bear,

Does this face look familiar?  It is your Nutella face after eating one of your favorite sandwiches...Nutella and Peanut Butter.  You love it so much that you could probably eat it for every meal.

You always have a kissable face but I must admit a Nutella face makes you almost irresistible.  I asked you one time if rubbing Nutella into your skin made you sweeter?  You just laughed and said, "No that just silly Diva."

Your Old Bear Poppa loves Nutella too.  You are a little chip off the old Charlie Bear Block.

Happy Easter 2014

Dearest Charlie Bear, 

Did you know that Diva is a personal friend of the Easter Bunny?  What fun Poppa and I had watching you and your brothers at the Easter Egg hunt at your local library.

It was Henry's first Easter Egg hunt but not yours.  You were fearlessly picking up eggs as fast as your little legs could run.  You even share a chocolate surprise with me! You know how much your Diva loves chocolate!

You got to frost and eat sugar cookies, blow huge bubbles, and play games while waiting for your age group to go hunt eggs.  Have I told you how much Poppa and I enjoy watching you and your brothers?

Your dad had to bribe you all to take a picture with my pal the Easter Bunny but I think it turned out really well. Don't you?   We enjoyed going to Church with you and your family also.

I am so happy that you enjoy going to church and have so many nice friends in Sunday School.  Poppa and I pray for you every single day.  We love you so very much and are so pleased that you are growing up to be a kind, considerate and helpful young man.

Be nice to Henry.  He loves his big brother and wants to be just like you and Oz.

Be very nice to Mommy.  She loves your hugs and kisses....so does Diva.

Happy Birthday Charlie Bear

What a fun time we had at your green birthday party.   Poppa and I arrived Friday evening and got to help with the decorations and food preparations.  It was so much fun to see your face and watch your excitement as your friends arrived.  Mommy made you a shirt with the number 3 on it.  All the guests had to wear green.

  All the food was green .  You had green apples , cucumbers , kiwis  , celery, pickles, broccoli, marshmallows with green  frosting , green chocolate drizzled popcorn, green rock candy, green veggie straws, spinach wrap spirals and a green cake shaped like the number 3.
    

 

You are growing up so quickly.   You loved to play Pou on my phone , put together puzzles , and race up and down the hall.  I like to sing silly songs with you like Gobbly Gook and Brush Your Teeth song.  You love to play with Play Dough and love to read stories together.

You like to play games on Diva's phone.  Games are only for good boys so you work really hard to play nicely with Henry.

We are so glad you love to go to church and have made so many good friends.   Know that Poppa and I pray for you every day.  Looking forward to spending more  time with you and your brothers.  Your are my very favorite 3 year old boy!
